The purpose of An Evening of Hope & Justice is to bring together people who want to raise money to support the services provided by ADWAS to Deaf and Deaf-Blind victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Services such as crisis intervention, support groups, legal and system advocacy, individual therapy, community education, professional training, materials development, and transitional housing for Deaf and Deaf-Blind victims of domestic violence (this project is the only fully accessible housing of this type in the United States). And, of course, to have fun celebrating the great work of ADWAS.
