Classes and Workshops

Positive Deaf Parenting Program is offering two parent education/support groups this spring:

“Well Behaved Kids” (Thursdays 6-8:00pm)
Starting May 6th
For parents with kids ages 0-12

~Discuss positive discipline techniques
~Learn ways to improve your relationship with your kids
~Improve communication with your kids
~Get support and ideas from other parents

“How to parent a teenager” (Mondays 6:8:00pm)
Starting May 3rd
For parents with kids age 13-18

~ Do you want to understand why your teenager acts that way?
~ Do you want a better relationship with your teen?
~ Learn effective ways to discipline a teenager.
~ How can you encourage your teen to take responsibility?
~ Respect: how to give it, how to get it.

Classes are open to all parents in the Deaf community.

Classes will be offered in Seattle at 8623 Roosevelt Way NE
RSVP required

All classes are FREE and include food, older children’s group, childcare and materials.
