Volunteer

There are many ways you can become involved with ADWAS.

You may choose to volunteer your time by becoming an advocate, work in the office, or volunteer at an event.

How You Can Volunteer at ADWAS:

Volunteer Advocate:

Requires 50 hours of domestic violence/sexual assault training at ADWAS, and attendance at monthly volunteer advocate meetings. Must be fluent in ASL and have access to a phone and car.

Child Care Provider:
On-site child care for parents receiving ADWAS services (appointments with staff, parenting classes, support groups) or attending ADWAS events.

Office Volunteer:
Help with:

A minimum of beginning ASL preferred.

General Volunteer:

A minimum of beginning ASL preferred.
