🌊 Summer Camp 2026: Under the Sea! 🐠

Free for Deaf children ages 6–12

Get ready to dive into an unforgettable adventure! This year’s summer camp theme is Under the Sea, where we’ll explore the wonders of marine life—from the creatures living beneath the waters of Puget Sound and the beaches of Washington, to vibrant tropical oceans filled with colorful sea life.

Campers will discover what lives beneath the waves through hands-on learning, exciting activities, and incredible field trips!🌊 Field Trip Adventures

We have some amazing experiences planned this year:

  • A beach day adventure, where campers will enjoy guided beachcombing with knowledgeable Beach Guides.
  • A special private charter boat trip through the Ballard Locks and out into Puget Sound! (Last year we visited the locks—this year we get to travel through them!)
  • A visit to the Aquarium to explore their brand-new exhibit and participate in group activities with the aquarium team.

To keep the Aquarium experience extra special and exciting, we kindly ask that families hold off on visiting the Aquarium this summer if possible so campers can experience it fresh with their camp friends.🎨 Creative & Performing Arts

Campers will also unleash their creativity through ocean-inspired art projects.

We’re especially excited to partner with Deaf Spotlight and their drama team this year! Every day, campers will rehearse for a play that they will proudly perform on Friday. Families are invited to attend and celebrate all their hard work and talent.

This summer promises learning, laughter, creativity, and connection — all in a fully accessible and welcoming environment designed just for Deaf children.

It’s going to be another unforgettable adventure under the sea! 🐚✨
