Why Give to ADWAS?
A Foundation for Hope
At ADWAS, we believe in the transformative power of healing and community. For Deaf, DeafBlind, and DeafDisabled survivors of violence, the journey to recovery starts with moments of rest, reflection, and resilience. These moments are not just acts of self-care—they are bold steps toward reclaiming strength and autonomy.
Together, We Can Break the Cycle
Violence leaves a lasting traumatic mark, but through support and advocacy, we can address the systemic barriers that perpetuate harm. By fostering spaces of safety and empowerment, we create opportunities for survivors to thrive and rebuild their lives. Every action—big or small—contributes to this vital work.
Support Survivors This Giving Tuesday
On December 3, 2024, join us in raising $8,000 to ensure survivors have access to the services and support they need. Whether you share your time, talents, or financial gifts, your contributions bring hope and healing to those we serve. Let’s make an impact together.
Help us reach our goal!
Fundraising has been challenging this year, and ADWAS is no exception. We have served over 150 Deaf, DeafBlind, and DeafDisabled Survivors this year alone, a 20% increase over last year.
Thank you for standing by us through another year of supporting survivors. We invite you to continue with us on this journey by donating today on Giving Tuesday. Together, we can make 2025 a year of greater achievements, where all survivors find safety, strength, and hope.
If you are unable to give money this year, there are other ways to give! Consider signing up as a volunteer, donating items we are in need of, or gifting your skills & services. Find all the Ways to Give here!
