ADWAS

Office Closed

11/8/21

Dear Community,

With the recent covid19 outbreak in our building, what has been and will always remain, is our top priority as an organization is the well-being and health of all our clients, staff and community. Although, since March 2020, we have practiced social distancing, wearing masks, disinfecting common areas, using conference room for all appointments with clients. While these precautions greatly reduce the spread, it is not 100% effective.

After careful considerations, we have decided to close our office and have all staff work from home starting Monday, November 8th. The closing of our physical offices is necessary to protect the health of our clients, staff and community, and allow us to continue serving survivors in the short and long-term.

What does this mean?

· ADWAS will continue to answer phone calls and emails between 9AM-5PM, Monday-Friday.

· ADWAS will continue to provide services and meet with clients, through videophone or zoom (appointments only). Note: If you have specific access needs, please call or email us

· To the extent that we have any in-person interactions with clients off-site for legal appointments or medical appointments, advocates will follow the CDC’s guidelines regarding social distancing.

The next two weeks, ADWAS will be focusing on deep cleaning/disinfecting our building and modifying our protocols/plans continuing to follow CDC’s guidelines. We will continue to keep you informed of our process through our website, social media, and emails. We expect to reopen office on Monday, November 29th.

We understand that it has been difficult time during the pandemic and ongoing public health crisis. We ask for your patience during this temporary transition.

If you have any questions about this, please call us at 206-922-7088 or email us: adwas@adwas.org Thank you.

Sincerely,

ADWAS
