Thank you for your interest in ADWAS Preschool Summer Camp 2025. This is for Deaf and CODA preschoolers! My name is Nancy. I am a Children’s Advocate and the Camp Director for our Nature Camp this year. With limited options for Deaf and CODA Preschool kids to have a camp experience with other kids that sign, this camp gives CODA kids from all over the Pacific Northwest a chance to come together, bond over their common experiences build lifetime friendships and have fun in the summer!

Our summer camp is stationed here at ADWAS: 8623 Roosevelt Way NE Seattle, WA 98115, we will be having fun during the week with our Nature theme, to help them connect with the healing elements of nature!

Every day parents drop off their child and sign them in. Camp starts at 9:00 AM. and it ends at 12:00pm. We will provide snacks, beverages and lots of fun!

Our camp is staffed by volunteers that are Deaf, CODA and hearing and all will use ASL during camp. We do background checks on all camp counselors, and they are all trained by ADWAS. All counselors have background experience with kids and camp. Our goal is learning language and communicating with their peers, and to have fun outdoors!
