We invite your child to ADWAS 2025 Summer Camps, where our theme this year is Nature. Our goal is to inspire kids to embrace the outdoors and connect with the beauty all around us. We will be visiting parks throughout the Puget Sound region, exploring different natural wonders, and engaging in a variety of fun and educational activities.
What to expect:
- Geocaching Adventures: Discover hidden treasures and learn how to navigate using GPS technology!
- Creative Nature Art: We’ll collect natural materials and create fun art that we can leave behind at each park we visit.
- Hiking & Swimming: Get active while exploring scenic trails and enjoying the water.
- Sustainability & Recycling: Learn how we can protect our planet by reusing materials and keeping our world beautiful.
- Inspiration from a Danish Artist: We’ll study the work of Thomas Dambo, a Danish artist who turns recycled materials into large-scale art. His “Trolls” have been displayed around the world, including the Pacific Northwest! We’ll visit five of his creations, like Jacob Two Trees, Oscar the Bird King, and Pia the Peacekeeper.

This is an example of a Troll in Australia. We are keeping the PNW ones a secret from the campers can be surprised!
